Cole Tucker is an American professional baseballer born on July 3, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona. He plays as a shortstop and outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball. Tucker bats with both hands and throws with the right hand. The Pittsburgh Pirates pick him in the 2014 MLB draft in the first round with the 24th overall pick. He debuted MLB on 20th April 2019.

Career:

Cole Tucker played for the under 18 United States national baseball team in the 2013 18U Baseball World Cup. Then, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected him in the 2014 MLB draft in the first round with the 24th overall pick. He was signed worth $1,800,000 on June 12, 2014. He played with Gulf Coast League Pirates in 2014 and batted .267 with a .724 OPS. In 2015, he played for  West Virginia Power, where he aggregated a .293 batting average along with 25 stolen bases and 13 doubles. He was promoted mid-season to Bradenton Marauders in 2016, where he batted a combined .242 with two home runs. In 2017, he started the season with Bradenton, and in July, he was promoted to the Altoona Curve. In the 2019 season, he played with the Indianapolis Indians. On April 20, 2019, he was drafted to the MLB roster and made his major league debut versus the San Francisco Giants. In 2020, he played as an outfielder for Pittsburgh Pirates.
