James Bay is a famous British rock Singer. He was born on September 04, 1990, in Hitchin, England. He was born James Michael Bay and grew up in Hitchin with his parents and brother. He developed his classical guitar at the age of eleven. At 18, he went to Brighton for his higher studies, where he began playing the city’s open mic nights. One of his fans uploaded his concert on youtube, and the video drew the attention of Republic Records A&R, which led Bay to sign with the label within a week. On July 18, 2013, he came up with his first EP titled ‘The Dark of the Morning,’ released through Republic Records. On May 12, Bay released his second EP, ‘Let It Go,’ through Republic Records. It debuted atop 10 iTunes album charts. He released the song ‘Hold Back The River’ through Republic Records on November 17, 2014, in the UK as the second single of his debut studio album’ Chaos and the Calm’. James recorded a cover of the Beatles song “Hey Bulldog” for the 2016 TV series Beat Bugs, and he released his second studio album, Electric Light, on May 18, 2018. Also, he released a duet version of the album’s third single, “Us,” where he performed with Alicia Keys in May 2018.
